Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

Techowdy LLC provides AI chatbot development and related digital services through fixed-price packages and, where agreed, custom development projects. This policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refund requests are handled.

2. Fixed-Price Packages

Our fixed-price packages describe the services and deliverables included in each purchase. Customers should review the package details, pricing, and any stated limitations before placing an order.

If you purchase a package and we have not yet started providing the service, you may request cancellation and a refund, subject to applicable law and any clearly disclosed terms.

Once work has started, refund eligibility will depend on the services already provided, the work completed, the circumstances of the request, and applicable legal requirements. We will not automatically refuse a refund simply because work has started. Where a refund is appropriate, we will consider the portion of the service not delivered and any amounts lawfully payable for work already completed.

3. Custom Development Projects

For custom chatbot development or other individually scoped work, the agreed proposal or order confirmation will describe the project scope, price, deliverables, payment schedule, and any specific cancellation terms.

If a customer cancels after work begins, we will assess the work completed, deliverables supplied, and authorised costs incurred. Any refund will be calculated fairly under the agreement and applicable law.

If Techowdy cannot deliver the agreed service or a material issue cannot reasonably be resolved, we will work with the customer to determine an appropriate solution, which may include completing the work, correcting the issue, or providing a full or partial refund where appropriate.

4. Refunds for Payment Errors or Service Issues

Customers may contact us to request a refund if:

• The same purchase was charged more than once.
• A payment was processed incorrectly.
• A paid service was not provided.
• The delivered service materially differs from the agreed description.
• An unresolved service failure qualifies for a refund under the applicable agreement or law.

We will review each request individually and may request reasonable information to understand the issue.

5. Subscriptions and Recurring Payments

If a package or service includes recurring payments, the billing frequency and renewal conditions will be disclosed before purchase. Customers may cancel future renewals using the stated cancellation process. Unless otherwise stated in the applicable terms or required by law, cancellation does not automatically refund a billing period that has already started.

6. Changes to Requirements

Requests for additional features, integrations, revisions beyond the included scope, or other changes may require additional fees. We will communicate the proposed changes, additional costs, and any effect on the delivery timeline before proceeding. Additional charges require the customer's approval unless already authorised under the applicable agreement.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a cancellation or refund, email hello@techowdy.com with:

• Your name and contact email.
• Your order or invoice reference.
• The package or service purchased.
• A brief explanation of your request.

We aim to respond within five business days. If a refund is approved, it will normally be returned through the original payment method where possible. The time taken for the funds to appear may depend on the payment provider or bank.

We will comply with any applicable legal deadlines for responding to refund requests and processing refunds.

8. Customer Rights

This policy does not exclude or restrict any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law. Different cancellation and refund rules may apply depending on the customer's location, the type of service purchased, and whether work has begun.
